I spent a year as a secondee for Charity Next working on education and policy development at The Prince’s Regeneration Trust, on secondment from the Government Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs.
Learning about heritage-led regeneration opened my eyes to the challenges of delivering a truly cross-cutting agenda. Taking forward a hugely diverse range of projects, I had the opportunity to build networks across the public, private and third sectors, working with colleagues who had a genuine and inspiring passion for historic buildings and their potential to catalyse change in areas of need.
