I've been working at The Cambridge Programme for Sustainability Leadership since 2005. I started out by developing a version of the Business and Environment Programme for the Welsh Assembly but since then I have focussed on climate change. In particular I have worked closely with the Corporate Leaders Group on Climate Change and more recently helped sector specific initiatives get launched. We bring together senior leaders from across business and help them respond to the challenge of climate change by giving them a safe space in which to discuss and challenge each other over the responses that are demanded. For example, I worked with the insurance sector to develop the ClimateWise Principles which HRH The Prince of Wales launched in 2007.
One of the most enjoyable and rewarding aspects of my role is the real sense of engagement that the leaders from these organisations demonstrate and the tangible progress that we have made to date.
