I joined PSYBT as a Regional Manager in the Scottish Borders in 1999 and spent nine years building the presence of PSYBT in this rural area before I joined the Head Office team as Head of Operations. This position sees me splitting my time between being part of the management team in Glasgow and working out in the PSYBT Regional network.
Working for PSYBT, two days are never the same. From supporting a PSYBT Regional Manger with their local operations, planning national events and ensuring that we are working with our partners to deliver support to young entrepreneurs every day is different. One of the best things about working for PSYBT is seeing, over the years, how much the clients have grown and developed both in business and personally since first approaching PSYBT for support.
What is also really great is to see so many of the businesses that we have supported giving back to the organisation by becoming volunteers or joining the Alumni scheme and helping the next generation of entrepreneurs to start up successful businesses. This group of people are able to pass on their skills and knowledge with the insight of first hand experience of PSYBT – the best recommendation of all.
