The Prince’s Charities International Sustainability Unit
The Prince’s Charities International Sustainability Unit (ISU) is a new initiative which has been established to reflect The Prince of Wales’s vision and aims in the area of sustainable development.
The ISU will also facilitate the coordination of the international work of The Prince’s Charities, including those operating overseas and the UK based organisations with international activity, such as the Cambridge Programme for Sustainability Leadership, Business in the Community and The Prince’s Foundation for the Built Environment.
The initiative will manage various programmes including the legacy of The Prince’s Rainforest Project and any new sustainable projects which may develop in the future.
The ISU will work closely with The Prince’s Charities (and the Royal Household) to provide briefings on important sustainability issues and will help to identify priority areas for research.
