PRIME
PRIME (The Prince's Initiative for Mature Enterprise) helps people over the age of fifty set up in business for themselves. PRIME was founded by HRH The Prince of Wales in response to letters he was receiving from people desperate to work but unable to find anyone to employ them - because of their age.
PRIME Cymru
PRIME-Cymru was founded by The Prince of Wales in 2001 to help people in Wales, over the age of fifty, who were being made redundant and their skills and experience being wasted. The initiative in Wales has resulted in over 1,400 people being helped to become self employed and helped to provide over 2,000 jobs.
The British Asian Trust
The British Asian Trust exists to build bridges between the British Asian community and charitable organisations in South Asia. It is the most recent organisation to join The Prince’s Charities.
The Prince’s Scottish Youth Business Trust
The Prince’s Scottish Youth Business Trust is a charity that helps young people, aged eighteen to twenty five years old, start up and continue in business, whoever they are and wherever they come from.
The Prince’s Trust
The Prince’s Trust is a charity that helps change young lives. The Trust’s work is focused on young people aged fourteen to thirty who have struggled at school, have been in care, are long-term unemployed or have been in trouble with the law.
The Prince’s Youth Business International
PYBI is an international network of programmes that help disadvantaged young people to become entrepreneurs by providing business mentoring and funds.
