On Sunday 11 October 2009, The Prince’s Foundation for Children & the Arts is taking part in the Royal Parks Foundation Half Marathon. Two new places have now become available for runners wishing to take part in this beautiful race through the Royal Parks whilst raising vital funds for the charity. For more information visit Children and the Arts' website here.
The 13.1 mile route goes through the beautiful Royal Parks – St. James’s Park, Green Park and Kensington Gardens – whilst taking in some of London’s oldest landmarks, including Buckingham Palace and the Houses of Parliament.
With over 12,000 runners taking part and plenty of fun for the family, including The Brakes Food and Fitness Festival in Hyde Park, there’s little excuse not to take part!
